This expedition takes you across Botswana’s most iconic landscapes — from the open grasslands of Nxai Pan and the endless salt flats of Makgadikgadi to the lush floodplains of the Okavango Delta and the wildlife-rich Chobe River. Participants will experience authentic bush camping, thrilling game drives, a traditional mokoro canoe safari, and a scenic boat cruise on the Chobe River. Drive to Nxai Pan National Park located on the northern edge of the Makgadikgadi Basin.
Nxai Pan is known for vast grasslands dotted with acacia islands.
During the rainy season large herds of zebra, wildebeest and antelope attract predators such as lions, cheetahs and wild dogs.
Afternoon relaxation at the campsite.
Evening game drive in the park.
Dinner and overnight at wilderness campsite.

Early morning game drive to explore the park.
Wildlife sightings may include springbok, giraffe, impala, gemsbok and wildebeest with possible predators such as lions and cheetahs.
Return to camp for lunch and afternoon rest.

Drive north to Moremi Game Reserve located within the Okavango Delta.
Moremi offers diverse habitats including floodplains, lagoons, woodlands and grasslands.
Afternoon game drive in search of elephants, buffalo, antelope and predators such as lions, leopards and African wild dogs.
Dinner and overnight camping inside Moremi.

Morning and afternoon game drives in Moremi Game Reserve.
Excellent birdlife including Martial Eagle, African Fish Eagle and Bateleur.
Enjoy wildlife viewing across floodplains and woodland habitats.
Dinner around the campfire and overnight at campsite.

Transfer to Khwai Concession along the Khwai River.
Khwai is known for excellent predator sightings and beautiful floodplain scenery.

Afternoon mokoro (traditional canoe) excursion through the delta channels for a unique water-level wildlife experience.

Drive to Savuti, famous for dramatic predator interactions and vast grasslands.
Savuti is known for large lion prides and active raptor populations.
Afternoon safari drive exploring the Savuti Marsh.

Full day exploring the Savuti region.
The marsh landscape with dead acacia trees attracts large herbivore herds and predators.
Optional visit to ancient Bushman rock paintings in the area.

Morning safari drive before departing for Kasane.
Afternoon boat cruise on the Chobe River.
Excellent opportunities to see elephants, hippos, crocodiles and water birds.

Morning and afternoon game drives in Chobe National Park.
The park hosts one of the largest elephant populations in Africa.
Other wildlife includes buffalo, zebra, antelope and predators such as lions and leopards.

Transfer to Victoria Falls.
Guided tour of the spectacular Victoria Falls, locally called Mosi-oa-Tunya (“The Smoke That Thunders”).
Experience one of the largest waterfalls in the world and a major natural wonder of Africa.
